I just had to write and let you know how much I enjoyed your story about Jerry's '55 Chevy. I remember seeing the picture of the car parked next to your dad's shop hanging on the wall in your office at the shop. Reading the story I could tell how truly excited you were to not only find the car, but to see it in virtually unchanged condition.  What a thrill!

Congratulations on moving into your new shop in Belle Plaine.  Sounds like the business has continued to be a big success - I'm not surprised, because you impressed me with your visionary plans for the shop.

I've attached a few pictures of my '55 which I still have and thoroughly enjoy. It's been about nine years since you completed the restoration of the car.  I've driven it about 9,000 miles since - averaging around 1,000 miles per year - going to various shows and events here in western Colorado. As you can see, it's still looking pretty good!
