My roots go back to the early sixties in my dad’s body shop and Pure Oil station where I started in the auto restoration industry. So with that experience I have established Jimmy’s CRC Ltd., as the premier auto restoration shop of the Twin Cities with 15 years of producing show winning cars as "Jimmy’s.
The main thrust of Jimmy’s in business is Classic Vehicle Rotisserie Restorations of all makes and models, in any condition. I just love old cars and love to see the look on its owners face when we have restored their family heirloom to perfection or built their long lost dream car. I can say that just about every day someone stops in for a tour of the shop, and as they look around our show room they say, "I just got my last kid out of the house and I’m getting my car back". They might be talking about their first hot rod that they had in high school or perhaps their first muscle car that they parked or sold when they got married and started raising a family.
It is fulfilling to bring back that Vintage Ford to its original condition, or that Classic Chevy brought back to its pristine beauty for its owner, we thoroughly love to do that, and we do it well, but that’s not all we do. It has always been a passion of mine to make a vehicle look vintage original, yet perform like a new car. We call them Resto-rods or Resto-mods. We update all the systems to run and drive like a new car, have the comforts of a brand new car, and yet look like a vintage auto.
totally customized, perhaps with a chopped top, a hopped up engine and drive line, a customized body, a complete custom interior and then painted as mild or as wild as our customer can perceive it. It’s a total blast building a hot rod, where performance, beauty and art all come together to make someone’s dream car. All of these things can be done for you in our one stop shop.
Some of the processes that we perform at Jimmy’s include Custom Painting and Bodywork, Sheet Metal Fabrication and Rust Repairs, also the installation of engines transmissions and with upgrades, the installation of performance parts, suspensions, and complete Interior Renovation. "We can do it all for you in our one stop shop".
(note) You may not need all of these processes done on your existing car, or you may want to do some of the resto process yourself. We can work out a plan that keeps you in the loop doing your part and hiring us for procedures that you do not have time or tools to perform. "No job too small or too big at Jimmy’s".
Along with our professional crew of highly experienced technicians, we have state of the art equipment in our wonderful nostalgic facility in downtown Belle Plaine, Minnesota. Our facilities have turned into a point of destination for rodders because at Jimmy’s "Every day is a Car Show!
